Help Registering for a .tk address

supalightnin
HI I was registering for a .tk address and I was stuck on a step. I have already chosen the name but now it says I can forward the domain or I can use with DNS. I have no idea what DNS is, what it does, and what are the benefits of it over forwarding. Pls reply back as soon as possible and thank you so much Smile Very Happy

"DNS" means domain name server. If you host your site in frihost, it may be something like "ns1.frih.org" and "ns2.frih.org", or maybe different if you are in a new server. But it seems that you are not hosted yet. So, do some postings in the forum, request for a host and you'll get the name servers. Then add the name servers in the box(in the dot tk website). After that, add the domain(newly registered domain) in your frihost account. The domain name should be working within few hours. You can edit your website in frihost after that.
