wow thats a shit load. FYI, mysql and css ain't a language -_- .
I know php, html, small, vb
I know a bit of basic, used in visual basic 6. Not a lot really
Languages that I KNOW:
note that I don't programm with those languages(very well).. I just know a little bit about them..
what languages i do know how to programm with them well is: html, xhtml, VB, and probably Python.
Here we go:
Know a little bit of
CSS (if you want to clasify as a language, more of a standard)
and abit of java and C++ language
html lol (kidding)
I know simple c++, and whatever the hell the language is that you use to code 8 year old IBM machines. (used to mess around with those)
I know ASP, PHP, MySQL, CSS, HTML .
I know a little bit of C++, PHP, and Flash ActionScipt(Though ActionScript is not really a programming language)
I know various BASIC Languages and HTML,
and abit of Java and C ++
I know english ( cant program any computer without that )
Hmm Really must get a .sig
i know none but i do know english
PHP and HTML
Newbie here!.. well, i first learned C, then C++, afterwhich i decided to try new lingos.. such as Java, VB6, .NET, ASP and PHP, Flash Actionscript (though its not really a solid language..)
I feel so ... inadequate ...
Do you know the joke -
A C programmer needed to learn English and he learned really fast
- How do you do that?
- Well most of their words they have got from C!!
Besides that now I work as DBA and am mostly in databases stuff - SQL Server, Interbase, Firebird...
I know well:
MySQL (if it counts)
CSS (if it counts)
I am going to try to learn Visual Basic or Visual C++ over the summer.
I only know PHP and HTML, but I am learning more!
Know a little bit of
C++, VBasic, VFoxPro, HTML, php and little about SQL
Wow...that's just about all of them!
Lol.....I had a great deal of free time when I was younger and decided that I better learn something useful.
Mind you, I didn't say I programmed in any of them WELL, I just know them.
Kind of like saying you know HTML and you are not an artist.
I know those programming languages:
and I will knoe more in the future LOL
just web languages
I know C and html only~
what about B, D, Basic, QBasic, Fortan, Haskell, VB, VBS, Ruby, Pascal, Assembly and many many more?
of course the languages cause
1)MySQL is an open source relational database management system althjough i would say it is because of teh commands you use within php
e.g. INSERT UPDATE etc.
2)css is anot as such a language
quote from google:
but i would say it is a language its hard to explain y but hell who cares
languages i know HTML (learning php & mysql)
Windows e.g. Bad English
thats it i think
i just know
damn, if he knew those, he should go into the b00k of rec0rds.
lolx are you learning to spam right now?
i know visual c++, visual basic, php, dephli, masm .
I know QB,VB,TC,HTML,JSP.
Moved to the Scripting forum.
so i would like to perform my knowledge in .Net technologie but I don't have a french development solution to learn at home.
That I know well:
MS Basic and several other clones
Visual Basic up to .NET
HTML/Java/JS (that's a given )
MP (This is Mastercam's post language. A complete language devoted to post processing CAD/CAM files to run on CNC machines.)
That I've dabbled in:
Just about everything else.
-C++, my favorite! you can do almost everything and nearly lots of the best programs, OS, are made with this language.
-Visual C++, is based on c++ (obviusly) but has an easier interface, i personal prefer to use Dev-C++ for w32 projects.
-Pascal, i learned it becouse c++, it's good, but t o strict (structure languages ).
-Assembler, the hardest language to learn , i'm going to learning it for an electronic project, is an old language, but is still useful.
-Perl, i tried to learning it when using linux, but i get bored with it, i prefer to use another language.
-PHP, i really like this language, but i have not learn it yet, is really interesting.
-QBasic, for programming my calculator (TI )
-HTML, must be known for all..
I know MySQL, CSS, HTML and C a little, PHP, C++, Java and BASIC/VB well. I also know Russian, English, Spanish, French and Latin. Go me!
I know C,Java,jsp,SQL,Html for now...
Pascal since 2004.
PHP since 2004.
XML since 2005.
CSS since 2005.
xHTML since 2005.
MySQL since 2005.
I hope that I learn more
In the order that I learned and used them to any serious degree:
Assembly Language (Pic, Motorola, x86)
Ladder Logic - Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs)
Visual Basic (VB6)
And a little bit of this and that not worth mentioning. Still much more to learn I'm really late in the game w/r to the web related stuff, writing software for exe/dll (and similar) just seems easier for me.
Markup: HTML, CSS
I know xHTML only..
I know HTML, XHTML, PHP, JAVA, PERL, PYTHON, FORTRAN, VB6, a little bit about VB.NET.
Other miscellenous - MYSQL, TSQL
I need help with MYSQL. If you know anything, please pm me
I need help with MYSQL. If you know anything, please pm me [/quote]
Just make a topic here and get all the help you need
HTML, xHTML, CSS, PHP (a little)
C/C++ (I'am studing now)
I think it is good when you now many computers language but it is better know one but very good!
I concentrate on C++ becouse that language have power!!
I know actionscript very well, a little php (a little! im am trying to convert some script i found a place΄), a little HTML (how to make an URL, how to change to color, size, and font of some text), thats all.
In order learned (or started to learn, if not well known -- those marked with a astrisk):
Basic (Apple IIe, then Q-Basic, then GW-Basic, and much later Visual Basic, and much later than that TI-BASIC for 83, 85, and 89 models)
BAT files (first native DOS, then 4DOS .BTM)
Farsi (aka Persian, Iranian)
Assembly (I386, and then way later TI*)
C (shortly followed by C++)
CSH / TCSH
Java ( & JSP)
SQL with Oracle
SQL with PostgreSQL
That's all I can think of. There may be more.
HTML, DHTML. All I know, I need to learn more. Heh
Know a lot of :
Know little of :
- Visual Basic
That's about it for me.
Just read a few replies above mine, I had totally forgotten about the programming language for the TI-83/TI-83+ calculator lol. I added that to my "A lot of" list above, as I made a few pretty good games with it.
I know alot of HTML
I am taking CAD (computer Aided Desgine) next year and we are going to be Learning PHP i am told, so ill know SOME of that,
I know VERY little Java as i do not really use it and such,
I was wondering, What is XML?
If you want to know more about XML, check out this link: xml.com
Now, my languages:
I have rather a lot experience with
I've started to learn
Well, I know a bit of these:
Researching F# too
I don't like programming in all of these, only a selected few.
PHP, VB, C#, QBasic, mySQL, PASCAL, litle C.
I specialize in C and C++ though.
Other things I know:
you are so great!
I just know VB and C(a little bit)
I know these:
I'm versed in Basic, HTML, CSS, XML, and PHP. I dabble in ASP and DHTML. Yeah, I'm of the web variety.
I know ASP, PHP, MySQL, C++, Fortran
C++ (including Win32, SDL), assembly, html and PHP
I want to know more though
I know little assembler, java, c, C++, but my love for know are php&mysql...
I read a post above, that html, css as programming languages. I don't know what to say, there are no if's or while's there, we can't make dynamic anythind, it's like drawing something with a pen and then talkning about the lines from the drawing as a programming language..
What do you think?
DHTML, HTML. What's the diffrence between html and php?
php is a server side language.
A page written in php must be parsed first by a php interpreter before returning the response to client browser (for instance php module for apache does this).
This is why when you try right click->view source no php code is seen.
What you see is html, hyper text markup language.
hi ho my first post here
as far as my programming knowledge goes, i started off with BASIC, moved on to C, then C++, Java, VisualBasic, VC++ and finally VB.Net
I also know German
I know HTML, DHTML, XHTML, CSS, MySQL, GML (Gamemaker Language), Actionscript (Flash), C++, C and a little bit of Java and PHP.
I know alot of html lol, some php, used to be very very good at VB 6 but now i forgot alot of it, and i owned at OOT.
Lol, Object Oriented Turing? That language sucked...
[Edit]Many people won't know it only Canadians are forced it upon them.[Edit]
I know Delphi,Action Script,VB,LabVIEW,html
But I like delphi so much .
delphi is the best programming language.
I know HTML (and vairants), CSS, a fair bit of Java as well...
I know well:
Java (from the day 1 in university)
.Net (VB.net, asp.net)
Besides this I hv working experience with
mySQL, CSS, XML
Pardon me if i hv forgotten 1 or 2
Know a little bit of HTML, PHP, XML, C/C++ (a little bit 'couse i have always to learn more and more )
I know C++ its a nice oop language.
i think it is all mybe i dont remeber one or two lenguages
Then those sucker languages too(but important): HTML, XML, CSS, xHTML...
i know C & VB
and i've made several websites.
When I was a student I learned BASIC;
As a teacher I taught PASCAL;
As a science researcher I used FORTRAN;
As a programer I studied C++, VB, Delphi;
As a developer I mastered JAVA, JSP;
As an administrator I know some more ...
i know how to copy paste PHP and java sripts and understand basic html
Programming hmm i love it but dont got alot of time now to learn it.
Not That Good
I know Delphi , LabView , PHP , ActionScript .
Lol Idnet, you put MySQL under both categories: Good & Not So Good!!
I know too many languages to list here, but my most proficient languages would be:
I used to know stuff like Perl and Cobol and other shyte (only cuz of school) but I don't use them and I almost forget everything about them now, so... Half of them I learned on my own, but the better half I learned in school while getting my Degree in CIS.
Heh, I'm just now learning C++, know a bit of VB, and I'm pretty good with HTML.
These I know:
Quite a lot... and still counting, assembler and perl are on there way, and after that i might learn cobal.
Maarten Van de Put
i know html and php
only the basic's but aww well...
lmao SystemWisdom, i juse noticed that well there I changed it.
I can't really say I know a single language.
I've written in:
pascal & Turbo pascal
qbasic (only to test it)
dos/win comand shell scripts(bat/cmd files)
some language that came with the NT 4.0 resource kit(forget what it was called did a large scale rollout for Y2K using it in parts of automatic configurations; 150,000 users)
some shell stuff; bash csh ksh, etc.
wrote alot in perl in the win & *nix worlds great sytems tool.
just finishing up a catalog/shopping cart mail-bot in php for my first attempt at php.
They're not really languages but, i've created documents using html, xhtml, xml & css
Soon as this website's done I'd like to try lisp and ada. Probably won't until the need arises. Never really wanted to be a progammer but enjoy coding. When a need arises; I figure you learn the tools needed to do the job then forget as much of it as you can. If you're gonna code all day, you really can't help learning a little bit.
Why try to remember it all when it's all on the internet or in books? as you get older the brain begins to fill up and for each new thing you learn and retain i figure you gotta give up one childhood memory. My childhood/teenage years were the sixties there isn't a lot remembered from that time anyway, kinda like to keep what I got.
learn to analyze and solve problems and then the language can be researched and used that fits
HTML, JS and some PHP
I know really good HTML and CSS.
I also use MySQL, but that's not a language.
also HTML, CSS, PHP, JSP, SQL
And I know Assambler for x86, '51, MSP430 and PIC
I'm a GOD
But I dont know python, perl, sh and many others
Japanese ( You never know...)
So far I've learned:
english, spanish, and japanese...
what a mouthful.
I'm only 12 but i can make a hello world program in VB.Net
I know :
Java, C++, C, ADA95, PYTHON, C#, .......
but these are languages I hav had real experience with.
There are lots of other languages that I've used, or learned or anyhow acquired.
I know basic HTML and CSS.
and I'm getting beter at VB.
trying to learn some PHP but it is hard, I will try to get a book
