[RESOLVED] problem with file permissions

jarcelao
Here is the scenario, I have installed Movable type on my webspace. Everytime I publish a blog, MT creates the file with 666 file permission. The problem now is, if my blogs output is a PHP file, then i do get the error 500 message everytime I view the blog site. I tried changing the permission of the PHP file and the site works.

How do I make the default file permission of all newly created files of a directory set to 644?

Thank's in advance! Smile
