New wireless broadband router

sibbahz
I have ordered a new broadband router (wireless) to replace the old fashioned internet connection sharing ad-hoc wireless setup i have now.
What settings will i need to input into it and will i still be able to use network features on the other pc via the router?

It depends on the type of internet connection you have on how much you will need to configure. I know with my DSL connection I need to enter PPPoE settings into my router in order for it to get online. With Comcast Cable (the service I had before DSL), I didn't have to do any configuring. You should be able to take advantage of the same networking capabilities as you might have before.

thanks for that, its NTL cable in the UK. Didnt have to enter any usernames or passwords for the broadband for its current setup. Are most routers configured using web browsers? (for WEP etc.)
