Ok so my old webhost has just shut its doors and wiped there servers clean, I have a backup zip file with all my websites, and associated files. Can I upload the whole zip file onto your servers and then unzip it, or must I unzip it on my computer and then upload each freakin' file seperately (170 files 11mb total) that would take forever with a 56k modem. Please tell me there an easier way to do this. Thanks for all the help.
Does anyone now how to upload my old website quickly
You can upload your zip file through ftp or the file manager then through the file manager in your cpanel click the name of the zip document and then in the top right click 'extract file contents'. You may be able to do this through ftp but would be different for each one I would assume.
Hope that helps

1.Upload the zip file in the appropriate folder. (probably public_html)
2.Go to the file manager.
3.Click on the zip file.
4.Click on "extract file contents" on the right.
If this doesn't work, please let me know as I never tried it out myself.
Worked perfect, thanks guys, you're all the best
use ftp client to upload your file
especially when you planned to upload large file.
