It would be very nice If you will be able to pick a upgrade for more posts and points, I would recommend 10 posts and 15 points!
Here will be the features for them
Disk Space: 500MB
No maximum file size
20gb of Traffic
A free subdomain of your choice (eg. example.frihost.org)
Unlimited domains and subdomains of your own
Php, perl, python, cgi, ssi and other scripting languages
Unlimited MySQL databases
Ftp access, browser uploads and webdisk
Unlimited email accounts
cPanel or DirectAdmin control panel
So reply with some more Ideas and I'll add it to the list!
It's somewhat known on Frihost that Bondings will change the standard disk quota from 250Mb to 500Mb in the near future.
And by the way of the features you suggested, these are already there:
(Almost everything, like you can see)...
I don't know if Bondings will change the monthly traffic size too....
Yet the idea behind your post would be nice, lets say if you make x posts and you are able to change y coins (which you'll have to change in order for the upgrade) you can upgrade to higher disk quota and monthly bandwidth.
Personally, I'd say not have it tied into post count at all, just simply exchange coins for upgrades... Much in the same way that you can now exchange coins for a domain.
(The upgrades may or may not be temporary -- if they were temporary, you'd have to pay more coins to maintain them when they expire.)
Probably good to remember that Frihost is privately owned and managed by a group of people that the owner has an affinity of friendship and respect with. He also has the same kind of affinity with non-staff Frihosters who make positive contributions to his Website (not necessarily in number of postings). So if you should make regular contributions to the Forum that make it into a better place, then I'm almost certain he will help you in any way you need to be helped. For example, if you have posted for a while, and there is plenty of evidence of having built a really excellent Website that is a credit to Frihost, and you clearly need some more space, I'm almost certain he will help you without the need to barter for it.
On the other hand, if you really go beyond 500MB, perhaps it's time to get paid Webhosting?
