try Comeback Kid, if you are feeling adventurous. They are a wee bit monotone, but they are pretty good. Also check out Hopesfall.

Primus is really really wierd. They do the theme song for South Park.
You might also try some Danny Elfman (Oingo Boingo). He doesn't do albums or tour any more, he has moved into the sound-track era a lot more.
