nepalstar
Dear Friends,

For my web http://www.mcqquestions.com , I need twitter plugins to show my tweets in my web. please anybody suggest me good plugins. waiting for help,

Thanks
FunDa
There are lots of wordpress plugins available for twitter. Do you know how to install plugins in wordpress ?

Search for the plugin which does what you want, and once you decide, try to install it by copying its files into the correct plugins directory.

Its simple really. If you have difficulty in doing that, just post the plugin you have chosen

Thanks for sharing this video with me.. that's really good. This video tutorial clearly shows how we can get tweets in our web. But actually I'm searching for twitter plugins for word press to use in my web (http://www.mcqquestions.com) as widget in sidebar. if you know any good one plz suggest me..

Well, depending on exactly what you want to do, the choice will vary.

Here are the possibilities of what I think you might want :

1) suppose you just want to show a box in your website, that shows the latest tweets from a particular twitter account

OR

2) show a box in your website to show tweets from any account that contains a particular word or hashtag(say, mcqquestions)

OR

3) Suppose you have a twitter account where you publish mcqQuestions, and you want those tweets to be displayed on your main website.

OR

4) You might want to integrate an option to publish tweets from wordpress each time you publish a post in your wordpress blog.

5) a button to allow your readers to tweet about your post to their followers, thereby increasing your website readership

There are many more different scenarios, so here are the tools :

4)- http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/twitter-tools/faq/
(post a Tweet from within WordPress)

http://blog.victoriac.net/?p=87
(a wordpress plugin that automatically sends a Twitter status update to your Twitter account when you create, publish, or edit your WordPress post. You can specify the text for the updates, and also have the option to turn the auto update on/off for the different post actions in the admin panel.)

http://danzarrella.com/beyond-tweetbacks-introducing-tweetsuite.html
(a Twitter-WordPress integration plugin that includes server-side TweetBacks, ReTweet-This buttons, digg-like Tweet-This Button, automatic tweeting of new posts and some widgets.)

1)- http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wickett-twitter-widget/
(Display tweets from a Twitter account in the sidebar of your blog. As seen on WordPress.com. The easiest and best way to add Tweets to WordPress.)

5)- http://richardxthripp.thripp.com/tweet-this
(A plugin that adds a Twitter icon to every post and page, so your readers can share your blog entries on their Twitter accounts with ease.)

http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/tweetmeme/
(easily allows your blog posts to be retweeted.)

3)- http://twitter.com/account/badge
(Official javascript codes that display badges showing what you are posting on Twitter.)

2)- http://www.velvet.id.au/twitter-wordpress-sidebar-widget/
(Customise the number of updates shown in your sidebar, individual links to each status update on Twitter, style your Twitterings using CSS, choose whether to display your Twitter name before each post and customise text between the post text and the relative time.)
