New section for Java in Scripting

I would like to see a new section for java, which can make use of discussions about this powerfull programming language.
Please consider putting up a new topic on JAVA.

I am agree with you. All SCRIPTING forum need new distribution because is too confused. Few new sections will give better result with searching and related posting. But I don't know is this possible in this moment or we must wait better time.

The way the scripting forums are split up can be a bit confusing...

What if you want to ask a question about accessing MySQL via Javascript?
What if you want to ask a question about the interaction of PHP and CSS?

Not that it would be easy to give spit it up well either though... No matter how you divide it, there could always be questions about how something on one side of the divide could interact with something on the other side.

Though, if I were to take a try at it:
-Display code (HTML, CSS, et cetera)
-Processing code (PHP, Java, et cetera)
-Databases (MySQL and others)
-Other Scripting and Website Software (And topics that involve multiple categories)

I'd just change some of the names

something like "Markup Languages" seems better than "Display code" but I don't know...
The second one should just be "Programming Languages", since clearly HTML/CSS are not programming languages, and databases clearly is something on its own
"Other..." seems weird, and maybe it should be called "Cross-Topic" or something similar.

Just some ideas, obviously far from perfect.

That's very good actually. Your changes to the names are great improvements.
(Though I would add 'website' to programming languages, 'website programming languages', or people will start posting about C++ and Visual Basic there.)
