In case anybody is interested in putting themselves in someone else's shoes.
I think it is really great that they organized this event to support people who are otherwise being stigmatized. My favorite part is this:
To them, it was self-evident that Islam was a peaceful, non-violent religion, founded on respect for others, so they found the tag "Muslim terrorism" to be offensive.
Just for the record I have had muslim friends who are the sweetest people. Basically just like you or me when it really comes down to it.
yup...i had many muslim friends and they are all just like you and me.
too bad, terrorism has to involve religions in this matter.
hey guys, wats up oh and thanks for the support.
I'm Muslim and its a really good thing we've got people like you who are in a way supporting us. I know what its like to walk around and people stare at you like your gonna blow any second,
But most of us try to act like nothings the matter and it just goes a way.
But anyways i just wanted to say from all Muslims thanks alot for your support.
See Ya, Bye, Salam ( Muslim welcome, it means peace be upon you.)
I too have extremely friendly Muslim friends.
I hope all Muslims out there are having a happy Ramadan
Salam

and exactly WHEN was is such? Having read the Qu'oran I take issue with the use of the word "others"... which others specifically? And what about the other others that fall outside the scope of respect?
There are many great muslim people. Most people aspire to live well and in conformity to the expectations of a rightly formed conscience. But to claim that the aspirations of well intentioned muslims are the same of the dictums of islam is a bit of a stretch

have you ever read the xtian bible?
there is more blood, violence and evil in xtian bible then in
lovecraft, deSade, laveyan satanic bible and king's horrors combined
i have read it all
My best friend is a Muslim and is hands down the nicest person I have ever known. She opens her heart and home to everyone.
It is a shame that a certain group's interpretation of a religion becomes representative of that religion to the masses.
yes, i agree up's opinion.
hey just stopped by to see how you all doing. Thanks for the support, and i think al Muslims do. I noticed some people have -0.xxx in the points, meaning you guys don't have a site. Well you guys should try to get some points and start a site, its really fun.
Thanks again and Salam
Noone can judge others due to their beliefs. In the end, both you and us -muslims- believe in god. We share similar beliefs, similar mortality...We are all humanbeings. Why doo we hate each other? The only reason is the extreme people that dont really believe in god but seem like muslim or anything else..They are no human, they are only the animals that need to be killed. We mustnt hate each other because only of these creatures. We should try to live each other...I have lots of non muslim friends, so they hav a muslim friend..We are close, we are too happy being friends.Just try to.
