List them!

Web Developer - Was very handy at first, but now is getting behind firebug
Firebug - If you develop javascript, html, css this one is amazing, this IS a must.
All-in-One gestures - to navigate just using your mouse, very nice.
ColorZilla - To get the color of any element in a page, very useful.
User Agent Switcher - I used this to pretend FF was IE or whatever, don't really use it anymore.

I have stopped using Firefox due to it's slowness. I now use Chrome.

But when I did use Firefox, these were the extensions I always had.

Web Developer Toolbar
IETab
Firebug
DownThemAll
NoScript
Speed Dial
Nameless
If you don't use NoScript and Adblock Plus then either you are using Firefox wrong or you really love advertising, for some reason.

I also use Menu Editor to keep my interface that little bit cleaner, Searchbar Autosizer for a couple of convenient tweaks and Status-4-Evar because WTF Mozilla devteam.

A few years back I used AdBlock, handy indeed, but being a web developer having ads displayed in my own sites kinda killed that principle.
weltkarte
I only use Firegestures: It is a great add on to simplify navigation... I guess there are several similar extensions there dont know which is the best. But firegestures does the job!
Josso
AdBlock
Ghosted (amazing)
Torbutton
Blocksite
User agent switcher
Greasemonkey (amazing)
Epubreader
AVG safe search
Siteadvisor
Blummer
I use only these - Bbcode extenstion, Adblock, flashgot (to connect with any downloader software). I personally don't need any other ones.
