There are a lot of Tablet PCs in the gadget market now.
iPad was definitely NOT the first, but it was the one that inspired other major companies to take the plunge into this business.
The above chart is a bit old, but it compares a few of these tablets.
Fusion Garage JooJoo:
Notion Ink Adam:
Dell Mini 5:
Archos 7 Android:
Lenovo IdeaPad U1:
From what I have seen in the mainstream media, and tech blogs, Notion Ink's Adam seems to be the best value for money.
It has many innovations like the Pixel Qi screen (which is a type of eInk display which can be switched back to LCD type)
Also, a touchpad on the back. And a camera which rotates from back to front, so that all angles of video capture is possible while video chatting.
iPad is cool and sexy, but misses many major features that are essential for me.
Samsung Galaxy Tab also has many of the great features of the Adam, but is much smaller than th e iPad. Which is also an advantage that you can carry it around more easily(maybe even stuff it in you jeans pocket.
OlivePad, on the other hand has a little slower processor, but is much cheaper. Around Rs 16,000
There are many more including a Chinese tablet called aPad, which costs onyl Rs9000
And another Indian very low cost one for around Rs 1700
Which would be your choice and why ?
What would you use it for ?
