Any experience with Wine?

Hi @ all!

Does anyone have experience @ using the LInux Emulator Wine?
I have got Suse Linux 9.3, but I have got problems with configuring my wine edition...
How to change the path of the CD Rom drive in the wine configuration? The wine community help page is very bad, because my wine version is an other version....
Please write into this thread to if you are a linux / wine pro...

Im not a wine pro but i know that Wine Is Not an Emulator

You should check in your wine-directory for config-files. They should be pretty easy to understand. Just find the place where the path to the cdrom is and change it to what is right.

Wine is a windows LAYER Not an emulator...

If your cd drive is mounted on ex. cdrom then change it to cdrom...

if that's not what your asking then post..

I've used Wine. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't and sometimes it partially works. It usually doesn't work though.
