Hi, Dracokagebuyo!
I am also participating this year. But to be honest I am not aiming at 50,000 words this month. I am just starting and this is my very first attempt. I want to write 20,000 words, as this is more achievable for me and doesn't scare me so much as the thought of writing 50,000 words 
The book I am writing is about spiritual things... at least it was first planned this way, but one of my characters decided they wanted their own subplot, so now I have quite a bit of romance in there as well )) What are you writing about? Is this your first NaNoWriMo? Radar
Nanowrimo, yes.
I've done it a few times now, and I'm rapidly trying to finish at the moment. It is taking an amazing amount of my headspace right now. I recommend it to anyone who hasn't done it. Related topics
