I have been using Mozilla Thunderbird as my email program for years now. I used to have Kasperky 2007 on my PC with Thunderbird version 2 and it all worked fine. I have a laptop now that has been running Thunderbird verison 3 with Comodo Internet Security (free version), and all has been fine. Now I have Kaspersky 2010 installed, and Thunderbird can no longer connect to the email server to download or send email. In the Kaspersky application settings, Thunderbird is a trusted application and is allowed access to the internet. Is there anythign else I can do? I've tried emailing Kaspersky and tried the Mozilla forums but as yet nothing.
