Why should i not use absolute and relative?

Markulin
How do you use innheirt? (i think i spelled i wrong) and why should i use it?
I prefer absolute and relative - they work really great with eachother as far as i know and understand though i am really a beginner at this.

And how do you use float and fixed?

I remember that absolute was terrible to get it right. In one browser it was not possible to select the text correctly and it was hard or impossible to get it consistent between Internet Explorer and Firefox. This was some years ago so maybe I did something wrong. I was more of a beginner then. And new versions of the browser may be better.

inherit is use the same position property as the parent element. I have never used it myself. I think you can be fine without it.

I prefer position: static (default).
