PSP it´s just portable and only support a new tipe of CD or DVD.
but playing ps2 on a 21 inch tv in your room is quite awsome..

it supports UMD's just like the GCN...UMD's are not new 
the PSP has no games for it...its quiet sucky at the moment...DS>PSP but...

Man i wish i would have it.
The only good game in PSP till this moment is Metal Gear Solid: Acid.
graphics don't make a game good I must say I like the PSP, and I'm probably going to buy it when it's released here, but I think it's leaning waaay too far to the multi media side. I mean, I'll watch DVD's on my DVD player, I'll listen to music on my iPod. and whatever else it has, I'll probably use some other device for it already.
And the fact that you can play GBA games on a DS makes me mighty happy. Me lubs Golden Sun and Zelda: The Minish Cap. :3
My friends, who is now studying in Japanese won a free PSP last month.
He was the lucky dog of the promotion in the mall. He bought the PSP and paid the bill. Then the sale assistant told him that he was the very lucky man, the 1000th customer that day, who could get his goods free on his bill.
to bad...he didn't but a lot eh?
dont really care alot for the psp. if i want to listen to music i have an mp3player, if i want to see movies i have a dvd, if i want to play games i have gba (and soon ds, when it sinks in price and when some other games come out).
and to be honest i prefer the first design of the psp they showed ;P. not much has changed but still.
