Hi,
I am using zen cart now from fantastico.
it is asking to upgrade the zen cart . how do I back up the contents of the site and upgrade it.
it has taken a lot of hard wok to create the pages and i dont want to loose them ,
please guide me.

first go and make a back up of all your stuff.....
to do this go to the Cpanel and Backup.
Backup all the stuff
Make a backup of your Database....as well
You can download it to your local machine /Put it on remote server/home directory. choose the best option.....................
the back up functionality also gives you ability to restore it...back....so don't worry abt it.

Once you are done...then you can go and try doing the upgrade/update
Go to cpanel select fantastico .....
select which application u looking to update
it should display all the information about what is installed what is not.....
depending on application you either upgrade/ uninstall and reinstall the stuff.....
If you didn't modify the php files, then nothing on your website will (normally) be lost. The upgrade only modifies the php files and maybe does a few modifications in the mysql database, but it should keep the current entries intact. (your sites data is in mysql)
