To me it seems like the politicians don't understand they created the political crisis and state debts crisis. The government gave bllions to companies. Like banks and car factories didn't care for a healthy way to do business. And healthy is ment here in the way to make sure the company can survive on the long run. The directors and managers managed to let their company go down. Nevertheless the governments in different countries supplied massive amounts of money. The idea was to prevent a second big depression. The result is that the problem got bigger. The governments created big debts. The governments need to reduce their expenses in a gigantic way. And there is not much money available to reduce a second crisis.
Sounds like somebody is not a fan of bail-outs!
That's very understandable- they have caused a LOT of long-term harm, in order to cause a small and dubious short-term benefit.
They don't care though; they have two motivations:
1) It gives them an excellent excuse to give a taxpayer-funded thank-you gift to big campaign donors.
2) As long as they can show voters a short-term gain, they can keep getting reelected until they retire, they have no reason to care what happens after they retire.
Crisis are bought by greed of human
Not always... Sometimes there's just a drought or an erupting volcano...
You nailed it right on head, ocalhoun! With elections fast approaching, I have been receiving mailings from politicians saying what a great job they are doing. Good for a laugh only.
As long as you are using OPM (other people's money i.e. taxes), give it away!
