Mail server solution

James007
Hi guys,

This question isn't strictly related to Frihost hosting, but as all similar questions are here and therefore the brainiacs as well... (and there isn't really any other section that works for this)

For my site, I am looking for a mail solution. It should be on a separate server (OS preferably non-Windows as that is rather costly).

From my website I would like to make calls to the mail server to:
  1. make an email address (virtual mailbox).
  2. kill a specific email address (virtual mailbox).
  3. read all mail from a mailbox.
  4. read all non read mail from a mailbox.
  5. mark a specific mail as read.

Apart from that it should be capable to create hundreds of email accounts, and have a procedure that deletes all read mail from all inboxes. It should also have a spam filter to block all mails except for mail from certain domains that I specify.

How should I make this happen? Anyone?
