Hardware Hack Power supply

Possum
Hi

I want to dismantle a a netbook and Router and but them in a case together.

They both use a 12v power supply.

Will I be able to use one 12 v power supply.

Or do I need to do some maths to put them together...

Where would I learn such Maths if I need to..

Thank you...

If you can get a power supply that provides enough amperage for both, you should just be able to wire them in parallel. However, this may cause some complications when they each try to draw power at the same time.

Thank you

I just think this would be a great Hardware Hack project.

And I would be more happy leaving this computer on all the time..
