ebay sniping software

jwellsy
You can't hardly win anything on ebay auctions these days due to sniping ( last second bidding). I've heard there is automatic sniping software that will do the bidding for you, but I've never seen any. Has anyone here tried sniping software?

eh. what's the point. If there's an Item i want on ebay, i set the Maximum price i'm willing to pay for the specific item. Ebay actually does the rest.

Say the bid on an item is $25 and new bids go up in $1 increments
Then say the absolute most i'm willing to pay for it is $150, so I bid $150
The way ebay is setup, their system bids $26 for me, and will automatically bid $28 for me if someone else bids $27.

If the bids continue, my automatic bids stop when the bid hits $150.

So really, what you're asking, while there may be software for such a task, ebay has one built in, so such a program would be kinda useless.

Sniping is very real. It limits running up the final bid. Ebay is even starting to encourage sniping with its new "Countdown" beta. It looks like a RSS scraper that displays multiple auction time remaining clocks.
