Could certain log-ins be blocked to prevent spam?

Frihost has just received a volley of four spams in the Chat Forum by someone or a bot with the log-in:
1581153074

Is there currently a screen for log-ins? Would this log-in be as a result of a spam campaign?

I've also noticed the strangest log-in names. Is there a way that the log-ins could be coded with parameters such as minimum and maximum characters, and alpha letters to be included?

I don't think we'd ever do anything like that, as some users do have some odd user names.

Though I can say I've never met an actual user who uses numbers only.

This particular user/bot seems to come on every few days and creates a total of 10 threads and then stops. So I think it is indeed a bot, or some type of paid advertiser. I've been able to remove them all immediately (he's currently posting again).

The user name will get a ban shortly when an admin gets on.

Good work Ghostrider, many thanks for the feedback. I noticed that it was taken care off almost immediately. Smile
