I couldn't possibly start to calculate that, even though I have reduced my time spent on computer by at least 60% I still spend....who knows, anywhere between 20-30 hours weekly.
Right now as my university is on. I can't spen much time on my computer. Except university work I can only spend 2-3 hours daily on computer including surfing.
That sucks but I can understand that study is more important.

Well lets just say I got 2 work and am on the computer from 9-5 then come home and am on it again form about 7-11, on the weekends are pritty much all day jobs.

Without the internet connection, probably five hours a day plus with an internet connection of 4 hours. That's plenty of time facing my computer. Take note that it is only the average amount of time per day. Sometimes, I go over board!

I spend waaaay to much time on the computer. Well actually its normally more than one computer. The one runs Linux and the other one runs Windoze and I use them both for writing,painting and programming. So you are most probably looking at about 16 hrs a day ! More than that If play online gaming as well

Im basically addicted to it! I'd say most of my day im on my computer. Weather its photoshopping images, playing games, or even browsing forums, you'll see me logged on AIM all day.
5 hours during the week and 10 in the weekend, some months ago i would say 20 during the week but now i don't have so much freetime.
When I first started computing I wasted hour after hour surfing mostly for questionable stuff. You know what I am talking about guys. Now 10 years later I have started two successful businesses on the internet for PLUS size clothing. I would have never guessed at that time if I spent the energy which I wasted into something productive I could make money too.

i spend practically all my time in front of the computer except when im a t school but as soon as i get home i go on it and go off at 12-12:30 to go to bed and then do the same again the next day lol

for me it would have to be about 5 - 8 hours a day (when im not grounded). im 14, home schooled, and have three computers and 1 laptop. so I got all things going for me! lol. Im heavy into gaming! mhhhm.. 6 hours in a day.. sometimes more

same here, especially between playing CS:S and programming... and then when you add schoolwork on top of it it becomes like a full time job... except you don't get paid

im usually on my computer for at least 8 hours a day monday to friday because my occupation requires it. im usually on it just the same on weekends playing catchup on work that im behind in because i just seem to get bored at work and play flash games all day haha. so i would say 8 hours a day everyday which is 64 hours a week on average. wow i never relized how many hours of my lifes i must just waste away on the internet. no wonder my eyes are getting so bad, maybe its time for a break.

Well usually it's about 5 hours a day (not in a row, but on average)...but for some reason, I couldn't sleep tonight so today I stayed up all night on the computer trying to figure out something (don't even know what o_O)

Well, I have to honestly say...I spend way too much time in front of the computer. Even though I love talking to people, it is much better to get out there in the real world and enjoy the company of good friends. So yeah. I'm online about 10 hours a day now.

i think internet use has already peaked for me. i'm in my 20s now, and spend 1-2 hrs doing stuff online, but i used to spend ~4 hrs online in high school. i think internet use probably tapers off for most people as they go into college.
I'm technically online all day at work since I am a website coordinator. At home, I spend 2-4 hours online the nights I am at my place. I watch TV at the same time. On weekends, I am not on much anymore because I am usually with my fianc้e out doing something or watching a movie. A few years ago I would spend all my time online. Weekends were the worst. Some days I would be on when I got up and wouldn't get off until I went to bed. Glad those days are over

I am working as an IT staff .. so about more than 10 hours in weekday + another 8 hours if I go to office on saturday. let see if I am calculate:

Well far to much as I work a lot from home so it could be as high as 30+ hours per week. Then there's ebay at the weekend so another 3 hours probably.

Same, but I probably spend 3 most days and on Sundays (I work Saturdays) I probably spend about 5 or more hours.

How much time do I spend on the computer? WAY too much. I'm in college, and do most of my work on the computer. I work in a photography studio and use a computer all day. I do computer tech support for friends and am therefore on the computer. I come home and site down in front of the computer and work on one of the 20+ sites I have laying around. All in all, out of 24 hours, i spend about 12-14 on the computer. I know it's bad, but oh well, I'm young.

My internet tasks have grown since I was first introduced onto the internet - I remember the days when I used to feel privileged to stay online for more than ten minutes at the library.

I spend too long online for my own good. Because I don't have internet on my laptop I do have to share this computer so I guess I spend about 2 or 3 hours most weekdays. When I'm at my dad's house I'm on until about 6am and then I get up and go on again at midday so at weekends there I'm on for a long long time. If I have school, usually 1-2 hours. Sometimes I've been on upwards of 6-8 hours, but that's rare occaisons. I'd stick with the 1-2 hours.

If I've got class, then I'll limit myself, but if I don't have anything else to do (or when I'm working on developing a website or something), then I'll spend many... many... I go online as soon as I get home. I go offline only when I need to sleep. Then I go online again soon after waking up. It's the first and last thing I do when I wake up or sleep and when I get or leave home. I still leave the computer open when I go out though (I don't when I know it'll take long for me to come back).

I'm guessing 3-4 hours on weekdays, less on Saturdays because I'm doing other stuff, and less on Sundays because I'm doing all my weekend homework then.

That's kind of hard to answer. My net shuts off at 10:30PM every day and starts up at 6AM (for my own health), so I'm limited.

I do, however, waste some time on the internet every day, unless I'm really busy. On week days though I'm pretty sure I hardly ever spend more than 2 hours, maybe less than 1 on most days. On weekends though, I'd say it's more like 4 hours, which isn't good.

Awww man do i feel sorry for you... my nan used to have dial up. She lives like hours away from us and its on a big farm so we go up there for like small holidays. Anyway i use the computer alot but jesus it takes a minute or 3 to change web page I don't know if yours is better but it peeved me off alot.

I Spend round 15 hours a day on the internet

I guess you can say I'm somewhat of a nerd. I'm on the computer 4 or 5 hours, plus or minus and hour. I'm mostly getting aquanted with making graphics, managing a website, and stuff like that. I hope to have a job in the field of computers when I'm older.

Ok 3 to 4 hours on average. I can spend anywhere from 15 min to all day on it.
If it's one of my days at home, it can get quite excessive and wind up around 5-6 hrs (intermittently throughout the entire day). A normal day where I'm out and about for most (or all) of it means maybe 1-2 hrs.

But since my warden refuses us to have cable internet, we are left to resort to wireless connections. I personally had Airtel GPRS and it is just dead slow. So it takes 4 to 5 hours to do something that can be done in 1.5 hours MAX.

I spend a little too much time on the internet (or my computer, for that matter). I normally spend several hours (five or six?) on the internet alone, but most of the time is spent (nowadays, at least) just torrenting or chatting. My parents are still very strict when it comes to leaving one's computer on while he or she is away from it, so I have not had much luck when it comes to staying on that long.

I make my income so many different ways on the Internet, so I am on it almost constantly - not counting the time I take getting up to pour coffee or eating meals, sleeping, or running errands - and I turn off all my communicators when I'm watching my favorite television shows.

On a technicality I am on the internet 24/7 because my computer is always connected but actual activity is slightly less than that. I have several endeavors going that I earn extra income through so I spend a lot of time on my computer taking care of them. If I had to make a good guesstimate of the time actively spent online it would average out to about 10-12hrs a day I do believe. I know that seems like a lot but when you enjoy what you are doing time flies and you don't realize that you have spent as much time as you have doing something...
Getting my project off the ground I would say over the lasy month I am averaging about 16 -18 hours a day online or with web related tasks. This is rather extreme but I need to get the work done ASAP.
Once the important ground work is done I hope to ease off to a more normal 8-10 hour work day.
The excitment and enjoyment makes the work worthwhile.

Well, for my local city web-hosting/dial-up company I am support for it ( You wouldn't believe how many people have simple issues). So possible up to 24 hours or more, possibly more if someone calls me up asking me to cover for them. The more I stay logged in the more I get paid! This job also made me go FAT!

Well, since I do basically everything on the computer, I'm on it for a long time. My main computer is on for about 7 hours a day during the weekdays. The amount of time I spend on computers during weekdays can range from 3 hours, to 7 hours.As for internet, my time is about the same during the weekdays, a little less, usually by an hour. Weekends are anther story. My main computer is sometimes on for over 12 hours...and I use it up to 11 hours. Time on the internet is still about the same as weekdays; only with less work.

I would have to say about 3- 4 hours of me actually surffing the web on normal given days on average. But my computer is always on and downloading something. I feel that my connection is wasted if i don't! But I spend time doing other stuff on the computer that doesnt involve me surfing the web so my actual time on the computer can be longer.
I need to face 7~9 hours during work and <1 hr after.
