Cables and chargers. I have a bunch of cables and chargers that I am interested in selling on eBay or something. I am not that knowledgeable about different types of connections. Thus, I do not know the names of the different types of cables that I have. How can I find out what types of cables I have?
Well, most chargers will have a model number written somewhere, usually on the adapter itself. So simply Google whatever number you find and you should be able to figure it out.
You may be able to sell the whole lot to someone who knows what they are and can resell them individually.
Besides that, you'd just have to educate yourself about it, or find someone who knows and go over them cable by cable.
Power adapters with a transformer often list the inputs and outputs on the back of the transformer (i.e. - in: 120V AC 60hz, out: 5V DC 4A)
Adapters like this may be sell-able just on that basis to hobbyists who want to produce that given DC voltage.
You could also sell them at a garage sale or flea market- lower prices, but you don't have to even pretend to know what they are, nor do you have to be accountable for getting it wrong.
I have a ton of cables too.... i just keep them in a big box ..... I dont think it would be worth all the trouble to get like $1 or less a cord..........
