Can virtual environment be used to load into partition?

shenyl
Can I use virtual environments - e.g. Virtual PC running Windows OS - to load into a new partition in my HDD as a working OS?

It will be great if this could be done with ease.

With regards.

There is a solution about this but it is not freeware and there is no warranty that will succeed. The software is acronis true image server. I have use it to take a full backup of a partition and mbr to and restore it, through universal restore, to a different hardware configuration pc. I believe that will work for your case.
