Recently i had taken one more mobile connection and had bought a second hand Nokia 1100 mobile ..!! The only problem i was told was that the owner had forgot the phone security code.
So now what happens is that every time the phone gets locked i have to remove the battery and switch it on again..!!
So is there any way that i can get rid of it..??
Anymore options..? Please..??
Those sites were for unlocking the phone from the carrier's SIM card.
What nivinjoy wants is to remove the keypad lock code.
I think to do a master reset of the phone, it asks for the same 5-digit security code.
Try *7780# anyway
There must be a way to do this, I will let u know when I find it.
i think you can reset everything if you reset the phone to default (factory) setting.
Thank you all for your comments, replies and all your help. Actually I had taken this phone to a mobile repair shop and they were too at first not sure how to rectify it. Then they advised me to send it to Nokia directly and offered me to do it themselves provided i bear all the charges incurred.
But after some days i got a call from Nokia and said that it was a software issue assured me to do it for free of cost including free shipping charges. I got the phone after 2 weeks and I was surprised that the phone was like a new one including a new body cover, panel and a bright display and it was an all new phone.
Once again I thank all friends who replied to my post and helped me...
