With the exception of protected PDFs, can't you simply copy and paste?

Try using using Foxit Reader u can view as text thus copy I this you can also edit in text viewer
but I have not Try Editing.....

You can do pdf edit with Openoffice.

Openoffice, like firefox, has many extensions.

The strange and good of course, it is that can edit password protected pdf documents, without the knowledge of the password!

Take a look there because you can find there many extensions that can improve your productivity with an open-source software, when other softwares wants a lot of money to do that.

i just use online pdf to word converter... its easy to find in any search angine, and for my needs it works just fine

Firstly download word to pdf add on and install on your machine. After that open MS Office and go to file menu>>save as>> PDF or XPS. Very Happy

This is an interesting thread. I've never thought you could convert PDF to Word, always just the opposite. This was because PDFs sometimes are simply scanned versions of paper documents, and the text doesn't align as well as if it was converted from Word. However, it's good to know that there are tools out there that will help this problem. Pretty useful, but I don't really know when I would need to convert a PDF to Word. I usually just crop the pictures out of the PDF if I need them, and copy and paste the text.
