AT&T cellphone insurance replacement

Tony The Tiger
Two days ago, my cell phone popped off my belt clip when the clip surface broke away from the back of my cell phone. I have the AT&T equipment insurance and they have offered to replace my Motorola RAZR V3 with a model by SONY. They say that the RAZR is now a discontinued model and that the insuarance only mandates that they attempt to replace it with the exact same model. In the event that the original model has been discontinued they have a right to replace it with a model that they consider to be similar. Is there any way to fight paying the $50 deductible if they are not going to give me the same phone.

Probably not, you could possibly get a lower-end phone without paying the deductable.
