I recommend checking out Cavalleria Rusticana by Mascagni. the whole thing is great, one of the best pieces of music out there.
and may I suggest you go for the 1966 recording with the 'Coro e Orchestra del Teatro alla Scala' conducted by Herbert Von Karajan. Easily the best performance I've heard.
