Agreed. Things are way up since about six months ago, and they seem to be staying that way at least for right now. So hopefully this will continue and we can get ourselves out of this slump as much as possible.

Yeah, even in my country, India, economy is going up from last six months.

I wonder how people measure that the economy has improved? As far as I can see most of the currencies have "in effect" been devalued and Governments have manufactured more money. All of that has made its way through the system. Most of it went straight into the stock exchanges. People are still unemployed. And the greedy are still greedy and partying.

I think there is the illusion of the economy getting better due to governments pumping funds into the system. Actually getting better - NOT! Until such time as you see businesses hiring full time employees, things will not improve. Governments will just go deeper in debt without the increased in tax revenue of new workers. Consumer spending relies on people having the money to spend.

Actually, i think that Greece is going to cause some problem to the global recovery after this third big recession. Altrough the economies tend to be recovering, I think some countries are going to have some big essues from the excess of expenses of the state, they spent a lot last year to avoid a big reduction of the economy. Not only from the loans, but from the direct injection of money in economy in form of great constructions, etcerera, expenses in general, more than usual.

When jobs start returning I think only then will we truely be out of this recession. Banks and Corps can increase there profits but if the average person can't find employment the money won't move.
