I play my DVDs on my Hewlett Packard DV9000T in the DVD/RW drive. At times the drive has been erratic in the sense that at random times it does not recognize that there is a disc in the drive. I could not figure out what is going on. I though my Blockbuster online service was sending me bad discs that were incompatible with the Hewlett Packard Quick Play media player. Over Thanksgiving, I noticed that some discs would be recognized by my laptop at some times and not others. Yesterday, one of my discs was not being recognized. I cleared some temporary files and turned off my Pokerstars software and inserted the disc. Suddenly the computer recognizwed the disc and started playing it. I have yet to determine if it was the Pokerstars software or some temporary files that were interfering with the play. Does either of these sound like a logical culprit.
