Registry editor will show up in windows explorer fashion
left section will show location of regitry entries
right section will show contents of current registry entry

For current user
in left section go to following place
HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftWindowsCurre ntVersionPoliciesExplorer

in right section right click & create new or modify existing DWord value called "NoHardwareTab"

Does it really restrict hardware changes ?

Does this restrict anything?
To restrict hardware changes the solution isn't trough Group Policies?
