I think the points earned for each post should be raised a little bit....

jaleung, to get high points, you need to develop your answers. the point diferences between posts is exactly for that purpose. If you answer is hasty and small, it is only fair that you get average points.
high points are given to those who give extended (and Usefull) messages and the purpose of the points system is to have users that are active on the forums, not to just give away points.
I honestly think that the lower level should be diminuished (to a 0.3 minimum for those people who post only one or two words.
The maximum level (2 points) seems perfectly good to me.
