Hi

On the google site

I get this message

How do I get Google to visit my site more often?

Thank you

here are a couple of suggestions you can try to make google visit your site more often. i did all of these things since i setup my sites so give them a try:

1) first thing to try is to setup an account with google for your site on webmasters http://www.google.com/webmasters/

2) after you can login and verify your site and see what could be causing your safebrowsing diagnostic and ask them to change that

3) you can also setup a sitemap of your site in your home root folder of your domain and then also sumbit that using the interface. in your sitemap you can specify how often teh site's pages are updated

4) you should also try to change the content of the pages a bit this could also help get googlebots to come more often.

so try all of this and let me know Smile

Try to get more backlinks for it. The idea is that when google crawls the site that have your links on them, they would crawls your sites next! That's why people are so obsessed with high pr backlinks, cos' it is proved that google visits high pr sites more frequently than lower pr sites.

Another thing you could do is add more fresh content to it. Content is King and google loves fresh and unique content. That's pretty it.

did you add this meta tags on your pages source code?

Code:
<META NAME="ROBOTS" CONTENT="INDEX, FOLLOW">
<META NAME="REVISIT-AFTER" CONTENT="1 DAYS">

you can change the revisit-after to 7 days if you update your website weekly...

The revisit-after tag won't change the indexing from what I know.

Just use the sitemaps and get some (not nofollow) links from other websites to your website and everything should be fine. You can check in the Google Webmaster tool for indexing statistics.

i agree with Bondings for the sitemap cause it basically tells google: "hey i have all this stuff come and look at it!" but what you should do on top of this is log into the Google Webmaster tool (create an account if you don't have one already) and tell Google that you have a site map by submitting it in Site configuration->Sitemaps
