I just launched a new website.

Can someone please tell me how to determine if my website has been spidered or indexed?

hxxp://mountainpinephotoframesandmore.com/

Replace the "xx" with tt"

Thanks Smile

Thanks Guys,

Do you mean this goes directly into Google's search field ..... like this?

site:http://mountainpinephotoframesandmore.com/

or

link:http://mountainpinephotoframesandmore.com/

I'm using FireFox.

For 'site' I get "did not match any documents"
For 'link' I get "did not match any documents"

Independently, I discovered Google's Webmaster Tools - Site Status and discovered my site has been indexed. But I'd like to learn how to use the shortcuts you have suggested.

What am I doing wrong?

site:mountainpinephotoframesandmore.com

It should show 8 results.

for link it will be

Code:
link:mountainpinephotoframesandmore.com

This is coming up with no results at the moment.

Weird!

Here's what happens when I put this: site:mountainpinephotoframesandmore.com directly into in Google's search field:

Your search - site:mountainpinephotoframesandmore.com - did not match any documents.

Suggestions:

* Make sure all words are spelled correctly.
* Try different keywords.
* Try more general keywords.

It shows 11 results for me....

Well, I thought my OP was an SEO question.

In order to actually work on SEO details, I assumed one must first make sure that one's website is indexed to get started.

Actually, the suggestions above did indeed help me. After several hours of trying, using the Google "site:"search as suggested above, I can now see several of my webpages in Google's search results. Dunno why others could see search results when I couldn't, but it works now.

Thanks coreymanshack and truespeed. Now I can begin actually working SEO for my website Very Happy
