User banned from my site

LostOverThere
Hello,

Sometime in the past two weeks, one of my user's was banned from the site. I didn't ban him at all, and after checking my ban list on cpanel and my .htaccess files his IP is not in any of them (I even tried removing all of the 3 banned IPs, and still nothing).

The error he is getting is as follows:
Quote:
The connection has timed out
The server at www.cheesemedia.net is taking too long to respond.

My site is http://cheesemedia.net (or http://cheesegames.frihost.net )

Does anyone have any suggestions how I could unban him?

Kind Regards,

he should try using opendns, ping the server and try it on the same time as you do. Maybe there's some problems with his dns or his connection was just a bit slow and timed out because the server was also slow at that moment.

If he did get banned that's a strange message to get.

Yeah, it's definitely not his connection, as it happens constantly solely with the site. Using OpenDNS still results in the same problem, as does using different web browsers. Is there any way he could have automatically gotten banned?
