Switchfoot's New Album: Nothing Is Sound
My excursion into the world of Switchfoot began in the mid 90's when I bought a cd with a switchfoot song on it. I thought they were a one-hit-wonder, until they suddenly burst out onto the main stream with their hit album 'The Beautiful Letdown'.
For the first time in many years, I listened to this album over and over again (normally I can only listen once or twice, before I need something else). I was inspired by the lyrics, and the music was great.
The new cd is good. Not as instantly catchy as the first, but after a few listens, I'm falling quickly for it. Interesting to note some of the political tones on 'Politicians'.
Well, I'm off to their concert in Melbourne (Australia) tomorrow night! Hopefully they'll rock they place out!
