simple question does time exist?
Does time exist?
if we'd have time we would have timetravellers...
I don't think time exist - otherwise this whole place would be full of terminators

of course it exist. one of the "dimension". without time, you could not post here. the architecture of cpu has been so complex that they have to apply quantum mechanics to cramped all transistors into one chip. classical mechanics won't work on that small scale.
there are a whole new fields of quantum like quantum computing, quantum cryptography, quantum meteorology, quantum sensing and quantum imaging that applied quantum mechanics and quantum entanglement into practical applications.
the line between philosopher and science has been clearly drawn since 1920s. people don't debate if it's true or false, but calculate to prove it right or wrong.

Of course it does, though most people's conception of it is probably very wrong.
Maybe time is relative in nature and existent from perspective?
I’ll put this as a question for the benefit of not causing a terrible calamity on the boards although I would rather simply state what I believe, a question I think is more appropriate.
Since I entered this part of the forum I have noticed a trend whereby people go off topic. The question, I am wondering is why? Although it can be very distracting, I do suppose it does make posts more interesting to read, so maybe its a good thing? I am simply asking this question to clarify something I am trying to understand.
I notice when there are posts you see some interesting and informative comments but then someone usually puts something into it right off the wall and everyone jumps on the bandwagon. Is it the nature of boards? Perhaps?

Philosophy’s are ideas about human nature and the nature of the reality we live in. It has nothing to do with scientific studies although everything does have connection with everything else. Things can be separated as well.
My question revolves around the topic of why post’s wonder off topic which I admit is what is happening here but I thought there couldn’t be a better topic to demonstrate. A topic was started here to discuss time. It is a question that seems to be purely philosophy and not scientific.
Another example of this kind diversion is contained in a topic I started in this section about a serious subject and got some very interesting posts, that’s so good, but then got some woman telling me what she did on her knees, like I want to know that?
Why do people go all over the place? Is it a catching thing?

If we time stamp our activity it will exist for our life but if we wonder around without thought to the existence of time then it has no meaning for us therefore doesn’t exist. How lucky are we either way?
Valueable insights appreciated.

The only thing that exists is: NOW
Therefore time does not exist... Oh no I just saw a terminator ... better run and hide !

Says who? Do you also believe that the only portion of space that actually exists is the part you currently occupy? That there are no such things as up, down, left, right, forward, or back, because the only place that exists is 'here'? Then why say there is no past or future because the only time that exists is 'now'?
time exist and is actually essential to our biological function. The idea of a biological clock is not fantasy.
It is real. Our bodies have a natural schedule that is bonded to time. Time is also how we judge much of the world, distance, actions, harvest etc... The only One who is outside time is G-d. IMHO of course
