I'm really not sure if the offer at:

is genuine or not. Has anyone tried it and got themselves a piece of kit?

There is an article from BBC Newsnight about it at http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/programmes/newsnight/3683524.stm.

I have to say it sounds rather fishy to me.

Never tried, but met such links thousands of times on the net. Can you see the "referral" part there in the link followed by a number? This is a referral id (just like on my sig. shhhh!). It can be either simply 'r=' or anythin else. There are lots of sites like this on the web, like ipod4free, laptop4free, etc.

I guess it works like MLM, where you collect referrals and then get a reward (?). But I guess you need to collect tonns of them to finnaly get your promised free stuff. If you want to visit, you can can ommit the "?referral=2452" part of the link and follow just http://lcds4free.co.uk/index.php. This way you will not earn points for somebody Laughing

So shortly, just ignore links like this, forget them!
