Best time of life

So, what do you people think is the best time in life..

I mean, between which ages is the best time?

I'm currently 14, and I think the best time in life is between 17-27, but I like to hear from you

There is no real answer to that. I'm fast approaching 50, but I don't think, on reflection, that I would change back to a teenager even if I could.
Life is change. The 'you' that is you today is temporary. You don't necessarily get wiser with age, but you do get used to it, which has compensations.

I like Sharon Stone's philosophy of life, to make the best of each age she is. And to embrace it with gusto! She's in her late forties right now.

What's best? To have the accumulated wisdom of a 90 year old, with the body of a 25-30 year old.

Since that isn't possible (yet), each age is a compromise, with advantages and disadvantages, with no particular age being perfect.

Of course the body can be a good tool in your age to find the best time but:

When you are in the state of mind where no other past moment felt better - then you truly are living in your best time.

How would you know that, as you don't know whether you may have even better moments in your future moments? Some may even experience total bliss at the very moment when they exhale their last breath.

Peace.

Alot of people say university is the best time in your life and i have to agree. you've got a good balance of true freedom (no parents!....well less) and less responsibilities (no work, no morgages, no taxes, just studying) and it's really social and there's loads of activities.

But I may change my mind in the future. i still have a long way to go in life (God-willing!).

EDIT: some women say the best time in their life is their wedding day Very Happy lol Razz

Since the only thing that exists is just NOW... All other things don't exist.
Hm, that felt simple to answer...

Once I had the experience that when I payed tax, it was the best moment in my life! (i still do pay tax of course Laughing ) - any other had that understanding????

Well I can only give experience from my short life.

I think right now - around age 20 - is the best time. I am young, in college, working, partying, etc. I have no family - no wife and kids to worry about. All I have to worry about is myself. I am young enough to be able to stay up all night drinking and still be able to get to school on time tomorrow (and do quite well regardless).

I would not ever want to be younger. When I was younger, I had to live (as most kids do) under the reign of their parents. I love having the freedom that I have now. I can do whatever I want as long as I do not break any laws (and nothing I do really does break the law). Sure I have many responsibilities that I didn't have as a kid (bills, work, more demanding schooling, etc.), but the freedom is much more prevalent.

I have friends who, at my age, have a kid(s) and are in committed relationships. I think the reason why I enjoy life right now is that I have neither. I couldn't imagine being in that situation right now... I'm way too young. I wouldn't want that for the next ten years.

But what about what is to come? Well I cannot tell you about the future, although I think things may improve in a few years. I think that initially after I graduate from UCR and I have a job that I like more (selling tools to wannabee mechanics isn't my favorite job) and am more financially stable, life will improve... I just do not know yet because I have not lived to that point yet...

I think it would be nice to be able to say that... I go to school full time and work full time... And, of course, with work comes those taxes you are talking about... But I do not own a house so I guess I can say that I have no mortgage..
