Dogs with or without tails
i personally think a dog looks better with its tail left on..i understand why they would want them chopped for hunting purposes but for a family dog which do you prefer?
Some dogs are born with no tail... the rest shouldn't have it cut off for nearly any reason (especially not for looks)!
If you do have to cut off a dog's tail, at least use anesthesia.

locally (in the UK), it appears that more Rottweilers are being left with their tails intact.... it makes them look like a different dog... which given the bad press Rotties get is probably a good thing.
Certainly, I wouldn't get a docked dog out of choice - it doesn't seem right...
