I though you have unlimited sub domains.....hm.... well then... If you need any help setting these up I can do it for you really cheap (I know i shouldn't be posting this here......)
Yes, the unlimited subdomains mean that there is no limit to the number of subdomains you can create of your domains/subdomains, however you only get one something.frih.org/.frihost.org/.frihost.net/... subdomain.
What you can do, is create a subdomain of your subdomain. Otherwise use a free subdomain provider like afraid.org

It is usually much easier if you install phpbb in a subfolder, like phpbb3 or similar. That way you can make a different index page instead of the forums index page. However, if you want to install it at the index, then you need to put all those files in the public_html directory, instead of the phpbb3 directory. Or install it there.
At the moment, the space cannot be increased unfortunately.
For something like frih$, look at the mods on phpbb3 and install a currency/points mod.
