I want it in exclusion
for that they covet more
not realizing the illusion
of the value that lies in gore.
my greed has me overcome,
with little inside me to resist
and its harms will be done,
while I heed to its persists.
I succumb to its bids
in the advert of its reality
encompassed in its gist
not realizing its frugality.
Had I known true love and generosity,
and how it could have set me free
I would have stopped my falling velocity,
and that of my greed destroying me.
