A solution to copying Blu-ray to PC for playback

badai
i thought ripping anything with some kind of copy protection is illegal. didn't all blueray have AACS?

a better guide should be skipping using any ripping software that disable copy protection, and you should remind your reader, if after copying using windows explorer the movie failed to play, most probably it's encrypted with copy protection and it shouldn't be copy on other media.

So if you play your blueray on PS3 or any other Sony Blu-Ray player console and you use a good quality camera to capture every thing on the screen and transfer it to your computer, will that be still illegal ?
badai
well, they sure will find a way to make it illegal.
