The FreeBSD Release Engineering Team relesed the FreeBSD 7.2- it is better then the fedora10.0

also available freebsd.org

support for fully transparent use of superpages for application memory
support for multiple IPv4 and IPv6 addresses for jails
csup(1) now supports CVSMode to fetch a complete CVS repository
Gnome updated to 2.26, KDE updated to 4.2.2
sparc64 now supports UltraSparc-III processors

I tried to use it, but command line is not my thing and i had major problems installing Gnome. Though my friends is reffering to this system very highly for it's speed and stability. NOt to mention the mountains of software to choose from. And yes i know there are alternatives like PC-BSD or DesktopBSD, but i want Gnome on my laptop.

FreeBSD is not Linux! They do share a common ancestor though (UNIX).

I prefer OpenBSD's benevolent dictatorship approach.
