Anyone know of good free typefaces?

My friends usually ask me to design stuff and I keep running out of new/appropriate fonts for the designs. Anyone know of a good site or perhaps someone has a nice list?

One of my favorites is exljibris. Jos is a great type designer who gives away some of his typefaces for free. You can buy the other weights.

You can also check out other font websites that give away loads of user-created fonts for free.

www.dafont.com is one of my favorites. Whenever I am looking for a new font, that is the first place I go.

I've just tried it out for the first time, and it works like a dream. Thanks for suggesting it Ghost Rider.
