Setting Name Server for a Domain

Hi,

I have a website hosted in two servers (mirror sites). Now can I provide the two name servers NS1 and NS2 of one server and NS3 and NS4 of other server? If I configure NS this way will my site open even when any one of the server is down?

My curiosities, I'd appreciate your views.

there are some free dns provider that support round robin. simply create 2 "A" records with the same domain name and different IP addresses, and your visitors will be load balanced between the two servers.

but the way you ask, it's like your NS1, 2, 3 and 4 are provided by different provider. so i'm not sure how to do that.
