where can i find a good php tutorial? I've got plenty of experience in IT (20 years) and have been developing mainly in ms tools.
However, i've got to dive into existing php-code to make changes. Collegue has left the company i'm working.
Were can i get a quick intro?

php.net has good documentation and is very useful but for a person that doesn't know much php it's a big step to just jump into the documentation right away. I recommend you start with a tutorial like w3schools PHP Tutorial.

well ... the best will be some kind of book like Beginning PHP 5 and MySQL: From Novice to Professional or later Professional PHP5 then php.net and practice ...
Tutorials are nice when You know some PHP IMO ... good book is always nice thing and the costs aren't so high Smile

Maybe Your company can buy You a book or two Smile
