This has to be amazing, never heard of this before. A woman already pregnant starting a second pregnancy with triplets after her first trimester. Big challenge currently is the first baby's delivery this week, as they would have to do it really carefully for the triplets to survive.

This is certainly a rare event.
I guess there are first times for everything...
Anyhow, best of wishes and good health to that woman!
There are animals that do that regularly, but I've never heard of it happening with a human before.
I'm guessing those triplets are doomed though.
At least someone has a healthy sex life. I hope the kids come out Ok.
Can we turn this into a Medical Oddities/Anomalies thread now?
I really can't believe that this is even possible. She really must be on some kind of fertility drug or else this case is even more ridiculously rare than it already is. There will definitely be quite a few complications during the birth of the first one, and probably some developmental problems for all of them.
Ok. I will add something weird then.

MEDICS are studying a rare skin disorder that enables sufferers to use their bodies as 'walking notebooks'.
Patients with the syndrome – artificial urticaria – discover that words stay on their skin if they gently write on themselves using a fingernail. |
Full article here. I tried to find something that was odd, but not too gross. I thought this was pretty interesting.
I did not think that would be possible.

Just imagine how much more sad it will be now that it has become an international event. On the other hand, maybe since it is has been so out of the ordinary she will have the most expert of specialists puzzling their way through this to save the babies. I hope that happens, although probably is going to put a great burden on everyone.

I'm sure Angelina Jolie would like that, she no longer will have to engrave messages on her skin. Is it legit however? I googled it and could not find the article in much more than TheSun newspaper?

I am not too familiar with TheSun, so I don't know how credible they are. I tried to find other sources, and found only 1, but it was obscure, so I didn't post it. I was just trying to keep the thread interesting, really.

The little I know about The Sun is that it thrives on scandals and the absurd. Maybe Frihosters from the UK could provide greater insight however.
Um, wow. This is just amazing. And hey, way to terrify me from having sex while pregnant, assuming I ever get pregnant. That is just too crazy.

The SUN is what we call a 'Red Top'. That is, it is a tabloid paper with an emphasis on entertainment rather than news. It is very widely read and very widely condemned for the quality of its 'journalism'.
If I had to score UK newspapers based on their credibility and journalistic integrity then the Sun would be about 2 on a 1-10 scale (where 1 was a comic with no real news).
